Bowling Green State University

Bowling Green State University new windows

THE PROJECT:
Bowling Green State University campus has multiple historic buildings with windows engineered, procured and installed by Jamieson Ricca; the Centrex Chiller Plant Building in 2015, Mosley Hall in 2016, University Hall in 2017 and coming soon McFall Center in 2018. The vision of the University is to refurbish their buildings over time in a manner that celebrates their history and restores their aesthetic lost in remodeling years ago.

THE CHALLENGES:
The original windows had been replaced long ago and Jamieson Ricca provided consulting and engineering to recreate new windows based on the existing drawings of each building.

Four separate and different Contracts, Architects, General Contractors and Mobilizations over several years created challenges in maintaining the same design aesthetic for all the window systems in all the different projects.

THE RESULTS:
The before and after images here of University Hall illustrate the difference new and historically accurate windows will make on your campus quad!
